Laird Package 2008 Key Features

Roots (Click on image to see bigger picture) For those wishing to make the most of their family research, our premium Laird Package offers that service.

All the key elements in our Crofter and Ghillie Packages are included, with research into both the maternal and paternal lines, making use of Scotland's National Records, Old Parish Records and census reports.

In addition, our professional ancestral researchers will make use of such materials as old Ordnance Survey Maps and Statistical Accounts from the period, incorporating copies of the records into the report produced, offering a unique historical insight relating to the specific location your family originated from.

As with both the Crofter and Ghillie Packages, accommodation can be arranged in Bed & Breakfast, 3* or 4* hotels.

Your package includes the cost of :
- 6 nights accommodation
- Car Rental for 7 days in a Category C vehicle (e.g. Ford Focus)
- Primary level of Genealogical Research of the Paternal and Maternal Line.
- Further research of your family history using Parish Registers and Census Reports
- Further research using old Ordnance Survey Maps and Statistical Records copies of which will be included in the report produced.
- Suggested information sources on the Social History relating to your family.
